| Objective:To study the expression of integrinαⅤ,β3 and bFGF in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC)specimen and analyse their relationship of clinical pathological factors and metastasis in NPC. To explore the above-mentioned indicators effecting in the occurrence ,development,as well as distant metastasis of NPC,and to provide a new basis for research on protein level in NPC occurrence ,development,and distant metastasis.Methods:Immunohistochemical SupervisionTM two-step method was detected tissues of integrinαⅤ,β3 and bFGF expression in 106 cases tissue with nasopharyngeal carcinoma, which were divided into two groups according to whether the cancer transfer, while randomly selected 26 cases with tissue of nasopharyngeal mucosa Chronic inflammation of the organization as controls. SPSS (13.0) statistical software was used for data statistical analysis , the P-value less than 0.05 was considered significantly. The parameters such as the expression of integrinαⅤ,β3,bFGF and the major clinical pathological characteristics of NPC were compared and analysed by the rank sum test and Spearman rank sum test.Results: (1)The main color of integrinαv,β3 were stained pale yellow,yellow or brown in the cytoplasm of tumor cell,which were dispersed and uneven distribution,integrinβ3 staining yellow was seen in the nucleus of a small number of NPC cell; The positive cells of bFGF stained uniformly pale yellow or yellow in the tumor cell nuclear staining areas. (2) The integrinαⅤ,β3 were mainly stained in cytoplasm, the expression of intergrinαⅤ,β3(81.1%,94.3%)in NPC tissues were obviously stronger than that of in nasopharyngeal mucosa Chronic inflammation tissues (p<0.01).The expression of intergrinαⅤ,β3 in distant metastasis of NPC were obviously stronger than in no distant metastasis of NPC, and were correlated with N stage,clinic stage. But the expression of intergrinαⅤ,β3 in NPC did not correlated with sex,age,T stage (p>0.05). (3) The expression of the bFGF in NPC tissues was obviously stronger than that of in nasopharyngeal mucosa Chronic inflammation tissues (p<0.01). It was obviously in distant metastasis of NPC stronger than in no distant metastasis of NPC, and was correlated with T stage,T stage ( p<0.05). But the expression of intergrinβ3 in NPC did not correlated with sex,age,clinic stage (p>0.05)(.4) The expression of integrinαⅤandβ3 in NPC were correlate significantly(p<0.05,rs=0.235);and the expression of integrinβ3 and bFGF in NPC were also correlate significantly(p<0.05,rs=0.311);but the expression of integrinαⅤand bFGF in NPC were not correlate significantly.Conclusions: (1)The integrinαⅤ,β3 and bFGF may play an important role in the occurrence,development,as well as distant metastasis of NPC. (2) Integrinαv ,β3 and bFGF were interactions in promoting angiogenesis and metastasis in nasopharyngeal carcinoma. |
