Further study of polysaccharides in composition with polysaccharide inhibition of a-glucosidase activity is the relationship between the development of chinese medicine to lower blood sugar possess important actual significance.The main content of this study are:(1) Improveing the tradition a-glucosidase inhibitor active detection method;(2) Screening the 46 traditional Chinese medicines.(3) Studying on the inhibit activity of different molecular-level Polysaccharide from Polygonatum sibiricum on a-glucosidase and exploring the relationship among their molecular,polysaccharide composition,proportion of simple sugars and a-glucosidase inhibitory.;(4) Application of hyperglycemic mice experimental model to verify the hypoglycemic effect of the separation. Through the above experiment, obtain the following results:(1) Improved the a-glucosidase inhibitor active detection method This law has easily, quick, accuracy good and so on characteristics. Compares with the traditional method, the result to be more reliable;(2) Through the screening of 46 traditional Chinese medicines, obtained 9 which have good effect on a-glucosidase.(3) The experimental result indicated that the Polygonatum sibiricum polysaccharide has the very strong inhibitory action to a-glucosidase. The further analysis discovered that Polysaccharide which is formed by single glucose has the strongest inhibit activity on a-glucosidase, meanwhile, the Polysaccharide has the strongest hypoglycemic activity.(4) The hyperglycemia mouse experiment proved that compares with the model group, the Polygonatum sibiricum polysaccharide has good effect on a-glucosidase.
