Synthesis, Anti-bacterial And Anti-tumor Activity Of Coumarin Compounds And Its Flurine-substituted Derivatives

Coumarin compounds and their derivatives are an important class of organic heterocyclic compounds, most obvious have anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-coagulation, anti-tumor activity and other biological activity of Trina Solar. have been widely used in medicines, agricultural chemicals, foodstuff, dyes, optical and other fields. Is also an important class of organic chemical raw materials and intermediates.Through Pechmann reaction, commencing with hydroxy or amino.substituted phenols, a series of coumarin derivatives and their fluoro equivalents were synthesized respectively with ethyl acetoacetate or ethyl fluoro-acetoacetate in good yields. Their anti bacterial activities in vitro were studied. It was found that the fluorine substituted coumarins demonstrated significantly stronger activities than the normal ones.The anti tumor activity of a part of the products was investigated on the tumor cell line HepG-2 and used 5-Fu as positive control drug. It was found that the fluro compounds were more powerful also. The two compounds,4-trifluoromethyl-7-hydroxy-coumarin and 4-trifluoromethyl-6,7-di-hydroxy coumarins performed outstanding inhibitions to the tumor cell.
