The Clinical Study Of Treating Perimenopause Syndrome (PMS) With Ximingting

Objective:Perimenopause syndrome is a series of somatic and mental symptoms as hectic fever,sweat fret and tantrum,insomnia and memory decline,dizziness and tinnitus and etc which is caused by the decline of the ovary function and the estrogen reducing in befoe and after menopause.Ximingting is a plant amedica which is extracted from black cohosh root,and its essential component is triterpenoid saponin.Ximingting is a new medicine with treating perimenopause syndrome that is allied developed by Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Shandong Luye Pharmaceutical CO,LTD.We apply Ximingting to Women with perimenopause syndrome and evaluate its efficacy in improving a series of clinical symptoms by contrasting the scores of KI and MRS pro-and-after of it.Testing the estradiol,follicle stimulating hormone,fasting blood glucose,lipid metabolism(total cholesterol,triglyeride,low-density lipoprotein,high density lipoprotein),serum nitrogen monoxidum,superoxide dismutase,malondialdehyde and bone density,We objectivly react the influence of Ximingting to some intracorporeal hormones,biochemical indicators and other related indicators.Simultaneously determining the liver function and kidney function,the thickness of endometrium,palpation of breast,cervical smear and etc.From those,we can assess its safe.Aggregately we analyze the clinical efficacy and safe of Ximingting in treating perimenopause syndrome.Methods:Select eighty cases consistented with diagnostic criterias,internalized criterias and exclusive criterias as the experimental group;Select 50 age matching females as the control group.1.The comparison of the experimental group and the control group: Contrasting and observing the two groups's general states of health(age,age of menopause,age of menarche,history of gravidity and property),body mass index, waist-to-hip ratio,the levels of sexual hormone(the estradiol,follicle stimulating hormone), fasting blood glucose,lipid metabolism(total cholesterol,triglyeride,low-density lipoprotein,high density lipoprotein),serum nitrogen monoxidum,superoxide dismutase,malondialdehyde and bone density.The comparison of the prior treatment and the post treatment in the experimental group: women in the experimental group were given Ximingting tablets for six months.During the medication,the females fill in diaries(fill in the scores of KI and MRS).Comparing the variance of theirs clinical symptoms,;physical signs,the sexual hormone(estradiol,follicle stimulating hormone),fasting blood glucose,lipid metabolism(total cholesterol,triglyeride, low-density lipoprotein,high density lipoprotein),serum nitrogen monoxidum,superoxide dismutase,malondialdehyde and bone density to explore the clinical curative effects.Testing the variance of blood biochemical indexes(alanine aminotransferase,creatinine), B-supersound in pelvic cavity,the palpation of breast and cervical smear and observing the poisonous side effects and adverse effects to evaluate the safe of Ximingting.Results:clinical trials show that there is no statistical significance between the experimental group and the control group in general state of health(P＞0.05).They have comparability;There have significant difference between the experimental group and the control group(P＜0.05).The level of estrogen of females with perimenopausal syndrome obviously decreases,the follicle stimulating hormone increases;There is significant variance of the body mass index and the waist-to-hip ratio between the experimental group and the control group(P＜0.05);There is significant variance of the fasting blood glucose between the experimental group and the control group(P＜0.05);Although lipid metabolism(total cholesterol,triglyeride,low-density lipoprotein,high density lipoprotein) have no statistical significance(P＞0.05 ),those indexes of the experimental group are higher than the control group;There is no statistical significance between the experimental group and the control group in serum nitrogen monoxidum,superoxide dismutase and malondialdehyde(P＞0.05).The level of serum nitrogen monoxidum,superoxide dismutase partially increases,and the malondialdehyde decreases compared with the control group;The bone density has no statistical significance(P＞0.05) between the experimental group and the control group,the females' clinical symptoms after the treating obtain obviously improvements,clinical total effective rate reaches 95.8 percent.The scores of KI and MRS have both greatly statistical significance(P＜0.01——P＜0.05);The levels of females serum E₂,FSH after the treatment have no greatly changes compared with those before the treatment;the difference has no statistical significance(P＞0.05);Although fasting blood glucose and blood lipid after he treatment have no statistical significance(P＞0.05) compared with before,they have descending tendency;Serum nitrogen monoxidum and superoxide dismutase after he treatment rise which have statistical discrepancy(P＜0.05) and malondialdehyde drops which has statistical discrepancy(P＜0.05);Bone density rises greatly compared before which has statistical discrepancy(P＜0.01);The liver function and kidney function,the thickness of endometrium have no significant variance before and after the treating(P＞0.05),Atypical hyperplasia and malignant cells in cervical smear were not discovered before and after the treating.During the medication,there were no serious adverse effects as severe headache,abnormal vaginal bleeding and breast nodus.Conclusions:Ximingting has great clinical curative effects in treating perimenopause syndrome:1.This medicine can greatly improve the clinical symptoms of perimenopause syndrome;2.this medicine can not heighten the levels of estradiol and follicle stimulating hormone,and it has no influence to target organs as breast and endometrium.It diminishes the side effects as abnormal uterine bleeding,spargosis,much leucorrhea,headache,dropsy, hyperpigmentation and etc because of utilizing estrogen,even including the risk of endometrial cancer,and breast cancer with long-term utilizing estrogen.This guarantees medicative safe,and especially fits to those females with perimenopause syndrome having contraindication and consideration of utilizing estrogen;3.After taking this medicine,though fasting blood glucose,and lipid metabolism has no statistical significance,they have descending tendency from the variance of determination indexes before and after the treating.Hyperglycaemia and lipid metabolic disorder are the major factors of diabetes, hyperlipoidemia and artherosclerosis.The rise of total cholesterol and low density lipoprotein-cholestero can lead to increase the attack rates of coronary heart disease, cerebral embolism and etc.this medicine decreases the level of blood glucose and blood lipid.that has good advantages to improve heart and cerebrovascular disease;4.The disorder of sexual hormone and antophysin leads to the derangement of free radical metabolism in corpore.This disorder makes nitrogen monoxidum and superoxide dismutase decreasing,and makes malondialdehyde increasing which aggravate the cardiac muscle ischemic and anoxic chronic pathological lesion.Ximingting increases the level of nitrogen monoxidum and superoxide dismutase and decreases the level of malondialdehyde to keep vassular relaxation,to inhibit thrombocytic aggregation,to prevent the adhesion of white cells and the hyperplasy of smooth muscle cells and lighten the damages of heart muscle postischemia.5.Ximingting can elevate females' bone density in peri-menopausal period and relieve the occurrence of osteoporosis.Study proves that Ximingting can widely applicate to clinic.Its study
