A small quantity of CCL28 is also found in peripheral blood leucocyte and other mucosa tissues.CCL28 is an effective chemoattractant for the immunocyte.The chemokine,CCL28,is thought to have dual roles as a chemoattractant for leukocytes expressing CCR10 and/or CCR3' and a mediator of antimicrobial activity.CCL28 can mediated immune cells expressing CCR10~+(IgA-secreting cells,some CD4~+ T cells and CD8~+ T cells) homing to the corresponding movement of the organization and take part in a role of local immune response.One report has shown that CCL28 mRNA expression was highly reduced or eliminated in human breast tumours compared to normal adjacent tissue.Our study to investigate the expression of CCL28 in adenolymphoma and pleomorphic adenoma in human salivary glands and investigate the relationship of CCL28 with the genesis of adenolymphoma and pleomorphic adenoma.Methods:(1) The expression of CCL28 mRNA of patients was detected in adenolymphoma,pleomorphic adenoma and distant normal tissues by Real Time polymerase chain reaction(PCR) method.(2) The expression of CCL28 protein was detected by the immunohistochemical staining method.(3) The expression of CCL28 protein was detected in tumor and normal tissues by in situ hybridization.Results:The expression level of CCL28 mRNA had significant difference between normal tissues and adenolymphoma and pleomorphic adenoma (P<0.01).The expression of CCL28 in the adenolymphoma and pleomorphic adenoma presented down-regulated.Conclusion:The attenuated expression of CCL28 mRNA may be significantly associated with the onset of adenolymphoma and pleomorphic adenoma.
