Objective:(1) To investigate the changes of cardiac function and hemorheology in patients with Qi-deficiency and Blood-stasis syndrome and the relationship between cardiac function and hemorheology.(2) To observe the effects of yiqifuyuan decoction on NO,TXB2,6-keto-PGF1α,ET,cardiac function , hemorheology and clinical symptoms in patients with Qi-deficiency and Blood-stasis syndrome.Methods:(1) In the term of the criteria of our absorbable Qi-deficiency and Blood-stasis syndrome, we chose 120 patients suffering from Qi-deficiency and Blood-stasis syndrome. Beside, we also chose 20 young people as healthy control group. All included subjects were examined with blood viscosity and cardiac function. We made the correlation analysis between blood viscosity and cardiac function.(2) Patients were included in our study if they had presented with low blood viscosity and Qi-deficiency and Blood-stasis syndrome. The selected patients were randomly assigned to treatment group (average age=65.4±8.7, n=22) and control group (average age=66.5±7.5, n=18). Patients in treatment group and control group were respectively cured by yiqifuyuan decoction and buyanghuanwu decoction.(3) After the course of treatment for 1 month, we observed and compared levels of NO, TXB2, 6-keto-PGF1α, ET, cardiac function and hemorheology.(4) We measured the level of NO in blood serum (by nitrare reductase method),the levels of TXB2,6-keto-PGF1αand ET in blood plasma ( by RAI),indexes of Hemorheology(by capillary method) and cardiac function(by color doppler ultrasonic examination).(5) Blood routine, urine routine, liver function and renal function were tested before and after treatment, which were the safe indexes.Results:(1)There were three blood viscosity states in patients with Qi-deficiency and Blood-stasis syndrome, including hyper-blood viscosity (55cases, occupied 45.8 percent),normal viscosity (25cases, occupied 20.9 percent) and low blood viscosity (40 cases, occupied 33.3 percent) and the positive correlation between blood viscosity in patients with low-viscosity and cardiac function.(2)The levels of ET and TXB2 in treatment group and control group were significantly higher than those in healthy group (p<0.01), but the levels of NO and 6-keto-PGF1αin treatment group and control group were significantly lower than those in healthy group (p<0.01).(3) After the course of treatment for 1 month, cardiac function and blood viscosity were improved (p<0.01), the integration of symptoms were descend (p<0.01) in the control group and treatment group, and there was significant variability between control group and treatment group on the above indexes(p<0.01or p<0.05).(4) After the course of treatment for 1 month, the levels of ET, TXB2 were descend (P<0.05), and the levels of NO, 6-keto-PGF1αwere increased (P<0.05) in the control group and treatment group, and there was no significant variability between control group and treatment group on the above indexes (P>0.05).(5) There was significant variability between control group and treatment group on the clinical curative effects.(6) Toxicity and side effects were not found in treatment group and control group by observation on clinlic symptoms and safty indexes.Conclusion:(1) There were also low blood viscosity and normal blood viscosity in patients with Qi-deficiency and Blood-stasis syndrome except for hyper-blood viscosity, and the positive correlation between blood viscosity in patients with low-viscosity and cardiac function.(2) The levels of ET, TXB2 were descend and the levels of NO, 6-keto-PGF1αwere increased in patients with Qi-deficiency and Blood- stasis syndrome.(3) Yiqifuyuan decoction and buyanghuanwutang decoction all can effectively ameliorate the clinical symptoms of Qi-deficiency and Blood-stasis syndrome, increase CO, retrieve the low blood viscosity state and adjust to the balance of NO/ET and TBX2/6-keto-PGF1α.(4) The clinical curative effects with yiqifuyan decoction surpass it with buyanghuanwu decoction.(5) There is no toxicity and side effects observed in treatment.
