Studies On Pharmacodynamic Of Anti-cancer On Mylabris Decoction Metabolized By PSB

Mylabris decoction metabolized by photosynthetic bacteria (Mylabris -PSB) is prepared by bringing superior photosynthetic bacteria (PSB) into Mylabris decoction , which utilizes the biotransformation and nutritional value of PSB. Its a new biological agent of Mylabris processed by microbial fermentation.In this paper ,Mylabris is Mylabris phalerata Pallas. Modern pharmacological studies reported that main anti-cancer ingredient was cantharidin in Mylabris. Cantharidin can inhibit tumor cells but not reduce the number of leukocytes in the peripheral blood. Its immune inhibition for body is not clear,which is rare in anti-cancer drugs. However, because the toxicity is strong, its use in clinical practice is limited.Micro-organisms have a very strong ability to decompose substances, and can produce a lot of secondary metabolites, Using the growth andprocessing activities of micro-organisms to concoct Chinese medicine, it is better than general physical or chemical means, which can change the properties more significantly, enhance the therapeutic treatment,reduce side effects and expand the indications, Photosynthetic bacteria use the powerful features of the bio-transformation, it can reduce the toxicity in the Mylabris and enhance the therapeutic effect of Mylabris.In this paper, the separation,the purification and the growth state of photosyntheticbacteriawas studied. Preparation conditions of Mylabris–PSB was optimized.Cell proliferation and inhibition test was detected by MTT method. For Mylabris–PSB , its four kinds of inhibition of tumor cell lines was studied, and four kinds of cancer cell lines IC50 value was determined. For Mylabris decoction , its four kinds of inhibition of tumor cell lines was studied,too. the differences of both inhibition of tumor cell lines also was compared.Finally, To observe the acute toxicity of Mylabris decoction , Kunming mice were used to test the LD50 by oral drug delivery, because in the existing concentration range of Mylabris–PSB, LD50 can not be measured. The maximum tolerated dose was used(1800mg/kg). The experients show that Mylabris–PSB is less toxic than the equivalent dose of Mylabris.
