The Relationship Of FasL, SFasL And MMP-3 In Different TCM Syndrome Of Lupus Nephritis

Objective:To investigate the the relationship of FasL,sFasL,MMP-3 and the apoptosis level of monocytes in peripheral blood(PBMC) in Different TCM Syndrome of Lupus Nephritis(LN) by examing the FasL,sFasL,MMP-3 and the apoptosis level of monocytes in PBMC in the peripheral blood of patients with lupus nephritis distinguished active stage and inactive stage.Methods:According to the diagnostic criteria of TCM and SLEDAI,25 patients with lupus nephritis of active stage consistented with type of toxic heat flourishing were differentiated.And 16 patients with lupus nephritis of quiescent stage consistented with type of deficiency of both QI and YIN were differentiated.and 18 cases of healthy volunteers were enrolled.ELISA was used to quantitate the expressions of sFasL,MMP-3.Flow cytometry was used to quantitate the expressions of AV,CD₃⁺CD₄⁺FasL.Result:1.sFasL,MMP-3 and AV in patients with lupus nephritis of active stage consistented with type of toxic heat flourishing were significantly higher than those in the normal control and those with lupus nephritis of quiescent stage consistented with type of deficiency of both QI and YIN(P＜0.01).sFasL in patients with lupus nephritis of quiescent stage consistented with type of deficiency of both QI and YIN were significantly higher than those in the normal control(P＜0.01).There were no significant difference in MMP-3,CD₃⁺CD₄⁺FasL and AV in patients with lupus nephritis of quiescent stage consistented with type of deficiency of both QI and YIN with the normal control.There were no significant difference in CD₃⁺CD₄⁺FasL in patients with lupus nephritis of quiescent stage consistented with type of deficiency of both QI and YIN with lupus nephritis of quiescent stage consistented type of toxic heat flourishing。There was significantly correlation beween MMP-3 and sFasL(P=0.01).Conclusions:1.There was significantly correlation beween MMP-3 and sFasL in patients with lupus nephritis.MMP-3 cutted FasL to sFasL,impacting the apoptosis of PBMC.2.Compared with the quiescent stage and the active stage of lupus nephritis,MMP-3 and sFasL were both increased,MMP-3 and sFasL can reflect the activity of LN.3.sFasL,MMP-3 and AV in patients with lupus nephritis of active stage consistented with type of toxic heat flourishing were significantly higher than those with lupus nephritis of quiescent stage consistented with type of deficiency of both QI and YIN.The examing of were different type of TCM syndrome were sFasL,MMP-3 and AV maybe conduce to differentiation of symptoms and signs of TCM.
