Objective: To dectect the expression of p16, p53 and survivin in cervical low-grade cervical squamous intraepithelial neoplasia(LCIN), high-grade cervical squamous intraepithelial neoplasia (HCIN) and invasive cervical squamous cell carcinoma (SC), analyzing their correlation, combining with patho-clinical data, try to explore the role of p16,p53 and survivin in oncogenesis progression of cervical cancer, hoping to provide new thought for the prognosis judgement and clinical treatment of cervical cancer. Methods: SP method of immunochemistry was employed to investigate the expression of p16, p53 and survivin in all specimens, and they comprised 43 cases of SC, 11 cases of HCIN, 11 cases of LCIN.Results:1 p16 positive expression localized in nuclear or cytoplasm. The expression of p16 was higher and higher in LCIN, HCIN, SC, that was 36.4%,90.9% and 95.4%, respectively, and in HISL group and SC group the expression of p16 were higher as compared with LCIN group (χ2=7.071,P<0.05;χ2=21.942,P<0.01). The positive expression rate of p16 in well, moderate and poor differentiation of SC were 50.0%, 95.8%, 100%, respectively, and there was statistical significance among those three groups(P<0.05, P<0.01). There was no statistical significance between p16 positive expression rate and age of patients or clinical stage.2 p53 positive expression localized in nuclear. The expression of p53 was higher and higher in LCIN, HCIN, SC, that was 0%, 27.3% and 51.2%, respectively, and in HISL group and SC group the expression of p53 were higher as compared with LCIN group (χ2=3.474,P<0.05;χ2=9.497,P<0.01). There was no statistical significance between p53 positive expression rate and age of patients, histopathological grading or clinical stage. 3 Survivin positive expression localized in cytoplasm. The expression of survivin was higher and higher in LCIN, HCIN, SC, that was 54.6%, 63.6% and 86.1%, respectively, and in SC group the expression of survivin were higher as compared with LCIN group (χ2=2.915,P<0.05). There was no statistical significance between survivin positive expression rate and age of patients, histopathological grading or clinical stage.4 The expression of p16 and p53 in SC group is positive correlation.Conclusions:1 The expression of p16, p53 and survivin were upregulated gradually, and correlated with pathological grade (LCIN, HCIN, SC), which indicates the overexpressions of p16, p53 and survivin are associated with the development of cervical cancer;2 The co-operative expression of p16, p53 and survivin could be a better biomarker for early diagnose of the cervical cancer and LCIN;3 The expression of p16 is positive correlation with histopathological grading in SC, it may played an important role in judging prognosis of cervical cancer;4 The expression of p16 and p53 in SC is negative correlation with each other, this implies the two factors may cooperatively take part in progression of cervical cancer.
