ObjectiveTo investigate the expression of transcriptional facter Snail in NSCLC and the relation with EMT,So to research the relation of emargence, metastasis and invasion of lung cancer.MethodsThe expression of transcription factor Snail was detected in 64 NSCLC,15 benign lung neoplasmas by immunofluorescence technique. The expression of epithelial markers E-cadherin and mesenchymal marker Fibronectin were detected in 64 NSCLC,15 begin lung neoplasmas by immunohistochemistry and compared with clinicopathological data.ResultsSnail was detected in 26 cases(40.06%) of NSCLC.The expression of E-cadherin was reduced in 30 cases and Fibronectin was up-regulated in 12 cases of NSCLC.The expression of E-cadherin was significantly related with the lymph node metastasis (P<0.05),distant metastasis(P<0.01),the reduced expression of E-cadherin(P<0.05) and the increased expression of Fibronectin. Conclusion Positive expression of Snail in NSCLC may accelerate invasion of NSCLC through EMT.
