Neuron is the basic component and functional unit in the brain, the research of its property is the basic research of the brain, and also very important to reveal the generating, transmitting and operationing of the neural information. The traditional research methods have been limited to the biological experiments and numerical analysis of mathematical mode, but biological experiments cost so much, and it is hard to achieve to automation subject, and when doing mathematical simulation in neural network analysis, computational speed has become the biggest limit.The rise of electronic neuroscience has supplied a new method to the study of brain, the main idea of this method is that we can realize the basic property of biology neuron by using electronic circuit. It can provide a platform to study characteristics of the neurons as well as neural network in the real environment and real time scale, and a powerful tool to explore the nature of the brain, and accelerate the development of bionics, and also establish the foundation to cure some kind of nerve disease, more importantly; it is the only way which theoretical research results can be applied.In this paper, based on Morris-Lecar model, we study the subject as follow:(1) Based on simplified Morris-Lecar model, we study the behavior of the membrane voltage and the property of phase portrait, and analyse the stability of the system, corresponding to the different parameter of the external stimulating current.(2) We establish the circuit of the ML model, based on the simplified model, and we utilize the simulation software to validate the designed circuit, and the result accords with the property of the biology neuron; at last we implement the electronic neuron. We get bursting neurons by introducing a slow driving current, and find that the parameter of slow driving current has a big effect on the burster.Chemical synapse is the most important connect substance in biology brain.(3) Chemical synapses have big effect on neuron information generating and transmitting, so we implement the chemical synapse circuit, and show the effect of the inhibitory chemical synapse onto the postsynaptic neuron.(4) Finally, we study the synchronization rhythm of the simple network coupling with inhibitory chemical synapse, and establish the foundation for studying the property of complex network for the future.
