| Objective:To investigate the protective effects of the integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine Xuebijing injection on coagulation in acute lung injury rats with sepsis.Methods : Sepsis model was reproduced in rats with cecal ligation and puncture .One hundred and four SD rats were randomly divided into four groups:normal group,CLP model group,heparin group and xuebijin group.The three latter group were divided into four groups of 6,12,18,24-hour subgroups with 8 rats in each subgroup.Blood gas, wet:dry (W:D) weight ratio , PT and APTT were measured.The level of PAI-1 in serum and bronchoalveolar lavage were determined by enzyme linked immunoadsorbent assay.Light microscopy was used to assess the pathological changes in lung. Immunohistochemistry showed the change of expression of TF.Results: Animals treated with xuebijing had less severe lung injury, with higher PaO2 (P<0.05), better histology scores (P<0.05), and decreased lung wet/dry weight (P<0.05) .In xuebijing group coagulopathy can be attenuated ,by blocking TF expression ,and PAI-1 levels of plasma and bronchoalveolar lavage were significantly lower in the treated animals (P<0.05 ) . Conclusion:The xuebijing injection can attenuated acute lung injury and coagulopathy in rats with sepsis,through blocking the expression of TF and decreasing PAI-1 level. |
