Objective:To detect the expression of HMGA1 in normal cervical epithelial,cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) ,squamous cell carcinomal of uterine ,exploring the relationship of its expression and cervix of the uterus carcinogenesis, clinical pathology characteristic.Methods:HMGA1 was detect by immunohistochemical stain in 34 cases of CIN,37 cases of squamous cell carcinomal of uterine ,and 10 cases of normal cervical epithelial tissue . Analyzes the relationship between its expression and the cervix of the uterus carcinogenesis, clinical stages, histology graduation, myo- level infiltration depth, lymph node metastasis.Results:1. In normal cervical epithelial tissue,CIN,squamous cell carcinomal of uterine groups,the positive rate of HMGA1 were 0,64.7%,97.3%,respectively,The difference between the three groups was significant statistically (X~2=37.85, P<0.001) ;Compared two groups randomly,squamous cell carcinomal of uterine group positive rate is higher than the normal cerviical group obviously,there was significant difference statistically(X~2=41.572, P<0.0125);CIN group positive rate is higher than the normal cervical group obviously,the difference was significant;(X~2=10.784 , P<0.0125),squamous cell carcinomal of uterine group positive rate is higher than CIN group,there was significant difference statistically(X~2 =10.784, P<0.0125).CINâ…¢positive rate is higher than CINâ… group (p =0.04,Unilateral)2.The expression rate of HMGA1 in the well differentiated, moderately differentiated, poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix were 87.5%, 86.7%, 100%,there was no significant difference statistically among the three group(X~2 =1.992 , P = 0.369); in clinical phasesâ… andâ…¡were 84.2%, 100%, the difference was not significant statistically(X~2 = 3.093, P = 0.079); in the depth of myometrial invasion <1/2 and≥1/2 group were87.5%,100%, respectively,there was no significant difference statistically (X~2 = 1.768, P = 0.184); in lymph node metastasis and no lymph node metastases were 100%, 90.6%, no significance difference between the two statistically (X~2 = 0.51, P = 0.475).3.In normal cervix, CINâ… , CINâ…¡, CINâ…¢and squamous cell carcinomal of uterine , the positive rate of HMGA1 were 0,36.6%, 66.7%, 81.8%, 97.3%,respectively. with the degree of cervical lesions increasing , HMGA1-positive rate was gradually increased . The extent of the HMGA1-positive rate and the degree of cervical lesions have a positive correlation (r=0.983,p<0.001).Conclusion:1.In cervical squamous cell malignant transformation process, with the lesions increase the positive expression rate of HMGA1 increase ,There was positively correlation between them.HMGA1 may play an important role in carcinogenesis.2.The expression of HMGA1 was constant at high level in cervical cancer,may refer to be a new molecular markers.
