| Objective:To investigate the relationship among HPV16/18 expression in lymph nodes , preoperative serum lever of squamous cell carcinoma antigen (SCCA) and clinico-pathological parameters in cervical carcinoma patients. To explore the relationship among HPV16/18 expression in lymph nodes and cervical secretion , and preoperative serum level of SCCA.Methods: We detected HPV16/18 in lymph nodes and secretion of 35 cervical carcinoma patients (experimental group) and 10 borderline ovarian tumor patients (control group)by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction, meanwhile detecting preoperative serum SCCA by Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(over 1.5μg/L is positive).Results:①The positive rate of HPV 16/18 in cervical secretion was 80%(28/35) in the experimental group as compared with that of 0%(0/10) in the control group(P<0.05).②The positive rate of HPV 16/18 in lymph nodes was 20% (7/35) in the experimental group as compared with that of 0%(0/10) in the control group(P<0.05).And in 7 of the cervical carcinoma patients with confirmed metastasis in lymph nodes, the positive rate was 85.71% (6/7)as compared with that of 3.57% (1/28) in the other 28 patients without metastasis.③The positive rate of serum SCCA was 37.14% (13/35) in the experimental group as compared with that of 0%(0/10) in the control group(P<0.05).④HPV16/18 in lymph nodes of the experimental group was related to lymph-node metastasis, depth of stromal invasion and lymph-vascular space invasion(P<0.05).There were no correlation between age, FIGO stage, patho-grade, vaginal cutting edge and the expression of HPV16/18 in lymph nodes (P>0.05).⑤Preoperative serum SCCA of the experimental group was related to lymph-node metastasis, depth of stromal invasion and lymph-vascular space invasion(P<0.05).There were no correlation between age, FIGO stage, patho-grade, vaginal cutting edge and the expression of SCCA (P>0.05).⑥HPV16/18 in lymph nodes of the experimental group was related to preoperative serum SCCA(r=0.650,P<0.05).There was no statistical significance between HPV16/18 in lymph nodes , preoperative level of SCCA and HPV16/18 in cervical secretion in the experimental group(P>0.05).Conclusions:HPV16/18 with a high expression in positive lymph nodes, which is closely related to lymph-node metastasis in cervical carcinoma patients. Preoperative SCCA is associated with lymph-node metastasis. |
