Environmental hormone,also known as endocrine disruptors,is exogenous factors which interfere to maintenance balance function of animal and excretion of development natural hormone.It includes chemicals,synthetic estrogen,phytoestrogens and the estrogen of eumycetes with the activity of estrogen.Steroidal compounds are important lipid and hard on biodegradation,therefore it shows a strong role in disturbance endocrine in very low concentrations.They can cause metabolic disorders, caused by high cholesterol,high cholesterol,high blood pressure,coronary heart disease,stroke,and so on,when steroid substances are too much in the human body.According to comamonas testosteroni with the characteristics of degradation of steroid compounds and efficient expression using engineering bacteria BL-21(DE3),and the critical enzyme 3α-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase/carbonyl reductase,3α-HSD/CR in the cell's expression being positively correlated with the content of compounds in environment,the indirect-ELISA detection method is developed based on 3α-HSD.Steroid compounds are detected form different samples by ELISA.The detection for the water samples of dinking water of Jilin Province Changchun city,Changbai Mountain,Xinlicheng reservoir,Shitoushuimen reservoir, Yitong River,Songhua River,Songhua Lake,Chagan Lake,Changchun South Lake and other water sources in 20 sampling points,these surveyed samples have varing degrees of pollution of steroid hormone in Jilin Province.Some of samples contain the steroid hormone too much.The total content of steroid compounds of water in Songhua Lake is(μ/ml) 34.4799 by ELISA,and the one in Xinlicheng reservoir is (μg/ml) 16.4800.Part of the samples are selected to HPLC determination,and two methods are compared.The result is showed that the uniform results are obtained by both methods and all of the samples contain steroidal compounds.ELISA method is rapid,sensitive and pervasive.It has provided information on food safety and offered an experimental Experimental technology foundation for detection of steroid compounds using immunological methods in future.
