Objective:To observe the influence of the RhEGF on the recruiting and settling of the MSCs on injured part of the esophageal mucosal. Methods:The SD rats were investigated and divided into groups randomly. SD rat MSCs marked by DAPI was transplanted into the experimental groups and control groups rats by tail vein injection and local injection respectively. The experiment groups were given rhEGF. After 2 week, the esophageal tissues were taken to observe the recruitment and settlement of implanted cells with the laser scanning microscope situation. Results : Local injected group:The group whith esophageal injury and given rhEGF could be seen more DAPI labeled cells, the group without rhEGF can be seen DAPI less labeled cells. There was significant difference between these two groups(P<0.05). There was significant difference between the normal group and injected locally group(P<0.05), both in given rhEGF and without rhEGF rats. Tail vein graft group: There were few DAPI labeled cells to be observed. There was significant difference between the tail vein graft group whith rhEGF and normal group(P<0.05), and there was no significant difference between the tail vein graft but without rhEGF group and normal group(P>0.05).Conclusion:MSCs can be recruited and settled in rats damage esophagus tissue. There were different results between tail vein and local injection. rhEGF could influence the recruitment and settlement of MSCs in rat injury esophagus.
