| PART ONE PROTECTIVE EFFECTS OF FUYUAN CAPSULE ON HEPATIC FIBROSIS IN RATS.Objective: To study the PROTECTIVE effects of FuYuan capsule on rat liver fibrosis induced by pig serum.Method: The 48 rats(180~200g) were equally divided male and female and randomly divided into six groups, including the normal group, the model group, the low, middle and high dose FuYuan capsule group,and the positive control group (compound Biejiaruangan-chip solution). The rat models of immune liver fibrosis were induced with pig serum. Alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) in serum were detected with autoumatic biochemical analyzer.Hyaluronan (HA), laminin (LN). IV collagen (IV-C) and the typeⅢcollagen (PCⅢ) in serum were quantified by radiative-immune technology. Results: ALT, AST, HA, LN, IV-C and PCⅢin the model group were significantly higher than those in the other groups(P<0.05), and there were significant difference between the model group and the FuYuan capsule groups(P<0.05), especially the high-dose group.Conclusion: The protective effects of FuYuan capsule on the pig serum-induced liver fibrosis are remarkable.PART TOW EFFECTS OF FUYUAN CAPSULE ON THE EXPRESSION OF TIMP-1 AND TGF-Β1 IN LIVER OF HEPATIC FIBROSIS IN RATS.Objective: Effects of FuYuan capsule on the expression of TIMP-1 and TGF-β1 in liver of hepatic fibrosis in Rats.Method:The 48 rats(180~200g) were equally divided male and female and randomly divided into six groups,including the normal group.the model group and the low.middle and high dose FuYuan capsule group,and the positive control group (compound Biejiaruangan-chip solution).The rat models of immune liver fibrosis were induced with pig serum.The expression ofΤΙΜΡ-1 and TGF-β1 in liver of hepatic fibrosis in Rat were observed with immunohistochemical assayResults:TIMP-l and TGF-β1 in the model group was significantly higher than normal group (P<0.05),the expression of TIMP-1 and TGF-β1 in the Fuyuan groups were significantly lower Compared with that in model group(P< 0.05),especially in the high-dose group.Conclusion:FuYuan capsule reduce the expression of TIMP-1 and TGF-β1 in liver of hepatic fibrosis in Rats.
