Objective To investigate the situation ,and influencing facators of sleep-disordered breathing in children aged 7-12 years in Hefei,and to provide evidence for prevention and treatment of sleep-disordered breathing of children.Methods A cluster and stratified sampling was conducted among 2200 children aged 7-12 years from 4 primary schools which locate respectively in four districts in合肥to investigate the current situation and related states by questionaire survey,and to study the epidemiological features,influencing factors of children's sleep-disordered breathing and it's harmfulnessResults Prevalence of symptom related to disordered breathing in children aged 7-13 years was as follows: the Prevalence of children's sleep snoring is 51.7%, habitual snoring5%,breathing difficulty2.1%, shortness of breath1.4%, louder nasal 13.5% ,sleep Apnea0.7%. The risk factors of children's habitual snoring include Atopic disease( Asthma, Allergic rhinitis, Atopic dermatitis), maternal Atopic disease during pregnancy,sex, chronic tonsillitis, parents' serious snoring,family members smoking; partial eclipse and so on.The children of habitual snoring are more vulnerable to nocturnal enuresis, daytime sleepiness, attention-deficiency than those children without or occasional snoring children.At the same time,they were shorter than others.Conclusion The prevalence of sleep-disordered breathing in children aged 7-12 in Hefei was high, which results in some harmfulness in children's growth and behavior cognition,Much attention should be paid on it.
