| Objective To assess the accuracy of C-arm navigation used in Thoracolumbar pedicle screw fixation .Methods 72 and 80 pedicle screw were placed for 15 cases respectively under the guidance of C-arm and Traditional surgery respectively. After the operation, the position of the pedicle screw was evaluated with CT and X—ray using the Richter grading system. Results ALL cases were followed up for 6 to 24 months。According to the location of the screw X-ray and CT results of the review,In C-arm navigation guidance group, accuracy of pedicle screw placement was 100% and surgery time was 75.0±15 min; In Traditional surgery group, accuracy was 90% and surgery time was 105.5±25 min. There was significant difference in accuracy and surgery time between two groups (P<0.05). C-arm navigation obviously reduced the radiation exposure to C-Arm fluroscopy and the time that it spended on Surgery. It Obviously improved the success rate of surgery. Conclusion C-arm navigation could obviously reduce error in Thoracolumbars pedicle screw fixation and improve the accuracy of it. |
