Fixed Impant Denture To Solve The Problem Of Interocclusal Space Deficiency

Objective Recently oral medication grows prosperous especially for oral implantation study. Oral implantology includes oral maxillofacial surgery, periodontics, restorative dentistry, dental material study, oral pathology etc. advanced science. Every day there is new development. Nowadays financial condition of people increase a lot causing higher demand on the quality of oral restoration. Not only is efficiency of chewing required, esthetics is also highly demanded. Implantology can satisfied this and to advance people's well being. Additionally, this can upgrade the social statues of dental sergeant.There are many manufacturers to supply such implant system. Each has different design and idea. But there is only one aim that is to increase the success rate of implant. A successful implant includes osseointegration and successful restoration. Although most design can satisfy the above request, condition of restoration of many patient's is not so good., such as insufficient occlusion space , restoration is unable to fix in position, and easy to fall out. Although osseointegration can be successful , the restoration is unable to work normally. This research report shows how to overcome the limitation of occlusal space, and to complete a perfect fixed implant restoration. Methods By using US bicon implant system, the cone shape locking taper abutment would stay in position, and there is nearly no space limitation for restoration of crown. Although bicon original manufacturer can supply the cone shape locking taper integrated abutment crown IAC(Bicon's Integrated Abutment Crowns)- But it still need to use special resin for crown restoration ,and cemented extra-orally with the abutment that the original manufacturer supply. Since cementation is still needed, there is still a chance of fractured crown. The writer has encounter such condition several time during practice. It is very depressed, and the patient's faith will be affected. This report deals with abutment and crown fused together as a single body. There is no requirement for cementation and fixed restoration crown can be completed. Therefore even though there is insufficient occlusal space , it is still able to complete the fixed restoration.Results Occlusal space is only 2.5mm. No matter using cementing type or screw type fixation, the failure rates are very high. But by using this method, 2.5mm, implant are still able to stay in place . Patient are also satisfy with this integrated crown , because crown will not crack again. Practical inspection show that because there is no connecting gap, it is more easy to be cleansed. Also there will not have food debris accumulated and that gingival will be very healthy.Conclusions This method is cheap, reliable, one body fixing implant false teeth. It may challenge the original manufacturer who only provides limited standard abutment. Every patient is custom made . It may be considered that our technique is better than what the original manufacturer unable to provide. Additionally the original cone shape patented locking taper will bring to a great height of development, for the good will of people.
