Human pulse contains much physical information which has a good affinity with diseases,especially cardiovascular diseases. High quality signal acquiring and effectively pulse signal processing have a decided effect to computing and analyzing diseases's parameters and make a diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.Based on the existing pulse processing methods and detecting technologies,a fingertip pulse signal detection system is researched and designed in this paper. Main cardiovascular hemodynamic parameters are computered by detecting pulse signals.Background and current state of research on pulse signals are presented ,research meaning is illustrated in this paper. System hardware circuit which takes TMS320LF2407 DSP as core processing MCU is designed and realized. USB interface is designed to realize communication with PC. By computing the pulse contour characteristic value k,the other thirteen cardiovascular hemodynamic parameters are detected finally. LABVIEW developing platform is used to develop system software in which pulse signal could be observed and filter time domain analysis could be operated.
