Objective: To explore the mechanism of cataract formation through the study of DLAD (DNaseâ…¡-like acid DNase) gene expression in rabbits lens after vitrectomy.Methods: Detecting the variation of intraocular pressure, inflammatory factor and oxygen concentration, and applying semiquantitative RT-PCR to detect DLAD gene expression in fibrocyte of rabbits lens after vitrectomy.Results: DLAD gene expression was all decreased in the exprement.Conclusions: The low expression of DLAD gene may play a important role in nuclear cataract formation after vitrectomy.
