Thebonemineraldensity(BMD)areimportantfactorthatinfecttheboneintensity.So,wemeasurethe BMD accuratelyandearlythat has themost important clinical meaningondiagnosingandevaluatingtheosteoporosisandosteoporosisfracture.Compared with other diagnosis methods, Ultrasonic bone densityinstrument estimatethe osseous in a completelynew method, which is nonradioactive, well repeatability, smallvolume and so on. It is practicable to screen out the large group of people's generalexamination and filtration because of the cheaper price. In this research, the way whichmeasures bone of tibia by quantitative ultrasound, reflects the quality of bone. In theory,longitudinal wave that probe transforms into transverse wave within the cortical bone oftibia complying with the theory of wave mode transform. And measurement formula ofultrasonicvelocityandSOShasbeendeduced.The research is the design of the Ultrasonic bone density instrument and softwareprocessingmethod.Theweaksignaofmeasurementturnintotheenoughlargesingalthrough the circuit of amplifying,filtering and detecting.Then colleting into the computerthrough the collection card. We do the de-noise processing by wavelet algorithm ofnonlinear thershold, and extract the features we need from the processed noise.Andconfirm the wavelet de-noising algorithm and feature extraction algorithm which base onthecharacterofultrasonicechosignal.The last show the analysis and perspective accordingto the result withthemeasure ofthis device .Furthermore, contrasted with the coequal device in a hospital, this device getsthe results is according to actual situation of normal human body. Thestudy lays thefoundationofintelligentultrasonicosteoporosisdiagnosisinstrumentforthefuture.
