PrefaceUlcerativecolitis(UC) is a kind of rectum and nodule chronic non-specificity inflamed disease which has not clear etiological factor.The pathological changes mainly in the mucosae and submucosa of the intestinum.Now the disease incidence of the UC increase continually.Because of the not clear etiological factor and pathogenesy,this autoimmune disease has little healing rate and UC has a high canceration.So it is the key point to make clear the changed feature of the albume for the etiological agent and treation of UC.Tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated factor-4(TRAF4) is a member of the TRAF family.TRAF4 specially express at the endothelial cell of breast cancer and metastatic lesion that hint that TRAF4 maybe participates in the carcinogenesis and transfusion of breast cancer.TRAF4 locates in cellular nucleus at subcellular structure,which means that it may be a original nuclear factor.Then TRAF4 is detected majorly in embryogenesis.Through research TRAF4 is expressed abnormality in pulmonary fever and prostatic carcinoma else cancer and so on.TRAF4 possiblly activates NF-κB and AP-1 to cause information transfer.The two factors are all the morbility factor of autoimmunity disease.Also the co-action of LTβR and TRAF4 could boost on dendritic cell and endothelial cell of lymph vessel,Lymphatic affords space for immunity cells floating and liquor exchange of interstitial fluid offering good opportunity for diffusion of phlegmasia cell.Besides,LTβR and TRAF4 could expedite on development of Inflammatory reaction accelerating hyperplasy on blood vessel and lymph vessel,then changeand loose connective tissue,so provide appropriate environment for inflammatory infiltration.The researches about the TRAF were mostly localized in nonimmune and Tlymphocyte.Yet this study was to investigate the expression of TRAF4 in UC,then we could get more message about the relation of TRAF and Autoimmune disease Materials and MethodsFifty biopsy specimens was obtained endoscopically from 35 patients with UC and 15 controls respectively.The specimens were used for HE and immunohistochemistry to detect the expression of the TRAF4.The emphasis is the expression of TRAF4 in lymphocyte,plasma cell and glandular epithelium cell.we classified and compared the result,then found the feature.Results1.The nuclear positive rate of TRAF4 in lymphocyte and plasma cell was significantly higher in UC than in controls[P＜0.01].2.The nuclear positive rate of TRAF4 in glandular epithelium cell was higher in UC than in control[P＜0.05,P＞0.01].3.The cytoplasmic positive rate of TRAF4 in glandular epithelium cell was not different between in UC and in control[P＞0.05].Conclusion1.The nuclear expression of TRAF4 in lymphocyte and plasma cell in UC is more obviously advanced than in common enteritis.2.The nuclear expression of TRAF4 in glandular epithelium cell in UC is more obviously advanced than in common enteritis.
