Effects Of Marine Capsule On Microinflammatory State In Maintenance Hemodialysis Patients

Objective:To investigate the effects of Marine Capsules onMicroinflammatory State in maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) patientsand the best medication time.Methods:1 40 MHD patients, who carried on maintenance hemodialysis at morning and that at afternoon, each enrolled 20 patients, were randomly choosed as treatment group. The patients, who carried on maintenance hemodialysis at morning were divided into Wu period group and that at afternoon into You period group, each group was enrolled twenty patients, another twenty patients were randomly choosed as blank group. All the patients in three groups were given to sufficient hemodialysis. The Wu period group and the You period group were applied with Marine Capsules (0.4g po qd). The Wu period group took the capsule at Wu period (11:00-13:00) after hemodialysis, when were not taken hemodialysis, they also took the capsule at Wu period; The You period group took the capsule at You period (17:00-19:00) after hemodialysis, when were not taken hemodialysis, they also took the capsule at You period ; And the blank group was applied with nothing. There were no differences in sex, age,hemodialysis time, hemodialysis age and primary disease among the three groups (P>0.05), Therapeutic effect was observed 3 months.2 High sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP), Interleukin-1β(IL-1β) and Tumor Necrosis Factor-α(TNF-α) were detected before and after 3 months of treatment.3 Serum albumin (ALb),pre-albumin (PAB), triglyceride (TG) and total cholesterol (TC) were detected before and after 3 months of treatment.4 The clinical symptom integral was detected before and after 3 months of treatment.Results:1①The levels of hs-CRP, IL-1β, TNF-αwere decreased than that before treatment(P<0.01, P<0.05) in Wu period group and You period group, but not observed in blank group (P>0.05).②In the effects of decreasing the levels of hs-CRP, IL-1βand TNF-α, the treatment group could do better than blank group (P<0.01, P<0.05).③In the effect of decreasing the level of hs-CRP, the You period group could do better than Wu period group(P<0.05). There were no differences in the levels of IL-1βand TNF-αdecreased between Wu period group and You period group (P>0.05).2①Alb, PA, TG and TC were significantly increased after treatment than that before treatment (P<0.05, P<0.01) in Wu period group and You period group, but not observed in blank group (P>0.05).②In the effects of increasing the levels of Alb, PA, TG and TC, the treatment group could do better than blank group(P<0.01, P<0.05).③There were no differences in the levels of Alb, PA, TG and TC increased between Wu period group and You period group(P>0.05). 3 In term of clinical symptom integral:①The integrals in Wu period group and You period group were decreased after treatment (P<0.01, P< 0.05), but not observed in blank group (P>0.05).②In the effect of decreasing the level of the integral, the treatment group could do better than blank group(P<0.01, P<0.05).③There was no difference in the integral decreased between Wu period group and You period group(P>0.05).4 Side-effect: Two patients in Wu period group and one patient in You period group, had to appear stomachache after taking the drug at the first time, one patient in Wu period group and You period group quited the experiment, another one in Wu period group, the symptom disappeared after taking off the drug, when going on taking the drug, the symptom did not appear again. One patient in Wu period group and You period group, had to appeare rash and pruritus all over the body after taking the drug at the second day, the symptom disappeared after taking off the drug, when going on taking the drug, the symptom did not appear again. 58 cases accessed to the statistical analysis, while 2 cases exfoliated.Conclusion:1 Dosing Marine Capsules can alleviate the Microinflammatory State in maintenance hemodialysis (MHD).2 Could the best medication time of dosing Marine Capsules is You period.3 Marine Capsules is good for MHD patients with few adverse reactions. It is safe, convenient in medication and worthy of probing furtherly in MHD patients.
