Objective:To investigate the clinical features,diagnosis and treatments of pulmonary embolism,in order to reduce the rate of missed diagnosis and mortality.Methods:Retrospective analysis the clinical features,examinations,treatments and outcomes of 20 cases in patients with pulmonary embolism.Results:1.The main symptoms of pulmonary embolism were dyspnea(15/20),chest pain(9/20),hemoptysis(8/20),chest tightness(8/20).2.D-dimer positive accounted for 13/20.The possibility above moderate of Wells score was 14/20 and revised Geneva score was 16/20.3.Pulmonary embolism with bilateral pulmonary embolism was common, accounted for 17/20.5.Anticoagulant alone for 9 cases,5 were recovered 4 improved and 1 died; anticoagulant together with thrombolysis treated 11 cases,10 were recovered and 1 improved.Conclusions:1.Dyspnea,chest pain,hemoptysis and chest tightness are common symptoms of pulmonary embolism.Patients complainted any of there symptoms should be suspected of pulmonary embolism.2.D-dimer test,Wells score and revised Geneva score were helpful for diagnosis of pulmonary embolism.D-dimer test together with revised Geneva score may reduce the rate of missed diagnosis of pulmonary embolism.3.Thrombolysis and anticoagulation are the main treatments for pulmonary embolism.According to our data,the effects of anticoagulant alone and anticoagulant together with thrombolysis were similar.
