Objectives Through the proliferation model of internal membrane of the carotid arteriy-transplanted rabbits, this research is carried out to observe the expression variations of HSP60 and PDGF-AA and the influences exerted by RosuvastatinMethods 1) group animals: the 48 New Zealand male white rabbits which are experimented the carotid arteriy graft, will be divided into three groups: the conventional fodder group (16), fat-rich fodder group(16), and the Rosuvastatin and fat-rich fodder group(16).2) check the blood fat by drawing blood and hsCRP; HE is to observe the proliferation of internal membrane, the immunlhisto chemistry will examine the expression and distribution of the HSP60 and PDGF-AA of the transplanted artery.Results 1) compared with the rabbits of conventional fodder group, the proliferation of the internal membrane of rabbits in the fat-rich fodder group is evident, the blood fat is high, (P<0.05), the hsCRP is increased, (P<0.05), the expression of HSP60 and PDGF-AA have clear increase (P<0.05) 2) compared with the conventional fodder group, there is a slight increase of internal membrane of the rosuvastatin rabbits, so does the blood fat (P<0.05), hsCRP (P<0.05), the expression of HSP60 and PDGF-AA is also improved. (P<0.05) 3) the comparison of the rabbits between the rosuvastatin group and fat-rich fodder group shows an obvious decrease of proliferation of internal membrane of the former, so do the blood fat and hsCRP, and the expression of HSP60 and PDGF-AA also decreased clearly. 4) immunlhistochemistry, HE dyeing, elastic fiber dyeing , Van Gieson ,the proliferation of the carotid arteriy membrane is in directly proportional to the expression of HSP 60 and PDGF-AA. (the related coefficient is r=0.830, r=0.680).Conclusions 1) HSP 60 and PDGF-AA are the factors that accelerate the proliferation of internal membrane; 2) Rosuvastatin can inhibit the expression of carotid artery HSP60 and PDGF-AA; 3) By inhibiting the expression of carotid artery HSP60 and PDGF-AA, Rosuvastatin can prevent the proliferation of internal membrane , and to prevent the blood vessel from becoming narrow.
