Design Of Multi-line Television Laparoscopic Digital Processing System

Surgery using television laparoscope is widely used in large and medium hospitals, because it is a minimally invasive operation that can help the patients recuperate quickly. Presently the video signal taken from the television laparoscopic system can only be transmitted to the monitor and not be conversed to a digital one that can be processed in the computer. There are systems that can only converse one of the video signal to a digital one and process it in computer. This thesis expounds a design of multi-line television laparoscopic digital processing system which can process four of the laparoscope video signal at the same time. The system has a friendly man-machine operating interface that can be operated easily. The system can bring a lot of economic benefit for the hospital because of its capability of processing four of the laparoscopic signal.The video gather card VC4000 is used in this system, which can process four of the video signal at the same time, and not affect each other while processing. Four of the laparoscopic signals which are conversed to the digital signals by VC4000 are transmitted to the personal computer in real time. The system is designed using the platform of Visual++6.0 that supply a lot of convenience for the designer.This thesis shows how to realize four of the laparoscopic video displaying on the screen at the same time, to record the laparoscopic video, to capture the picture from the video, to print the case history report mixed with characters and images, to save the case history report in a format of PDF, to replay the video recorded previously and to search the patients'information etc. And we also discuss some of the image processing design briefly.The system performed well while simulating and using in the hospital for many times. Because of its good performance, power function and a great practicality, the system has been appreciated by many doctors.
