Objective: Incidiency of cerebral infarction increase yearly. There were significant relationships between CI patients and conventional Cerebral vessels risk factors (hyperpiesia ,hyperlipemia, diabetes mellitus, genetic factor, smoking, advanced age) that we known. Unfortunataly, there are many unexposed patients who have no risk factors also suffer from the disease. It is a problem necessary for doctors to study and tackle.Recently, more and more schoolers pay attention to the probably risk factors for cerebral infarction in order to find a method for controlling or prevent Artherosclerosis diseases. Especially to the effects of infection of human cytomegalovirus, herpes simplex virus, Chlamydia Pneumonine on Athersclerosis diseases. However, the reports about bacterial infection whether play a important role in CI development is scarcly. Furthmore, in this literatures ,there are various opinions on which bacterium microbion play role in the process of Athersclerosis diseases. So,we select Helicobacter Pylori(HP)and Escherichia coli O157(EHEC O157) to be study after the literatures analysised and Elisa was used for the detection of IgG antibodies against HP and EHEC O157 in serum of 26 healthy voluntiers as normal control group(NCG),compared with those in 30 ordinary stroke group(OSG) with complete stroke with conventional risk factors, and 24 patients with special stroke group(SSG)who have no conventional risk factors. Patients suffered from brain infarction as evidenced by CT or MRI scan in the same time. To study the probably relationship between CI and the chronic or recent infection of the HP and EHEC O157. In order to find a new method of prevant or treatment for patients. Methods: ELISA was used for the detection of IgG antibodies against HP and EHEC O157 in serum of 24 patients with special stroke, Compared with those in 30 patients with complete stroke, and in 26 voluntiers as normal control group.Compared the positive rates of IgG antibodies with the control group in statistics principle. Results: In NCG,SSG and OSG groups: The positive rates of anti-HP IgG antibodies is 19.2%,58.33% and 20%. The posi- tive rates of anti-EHEC IgG antibodies is 34.6%,79.16%, 30% respectively Statistically, there was significant difference of IgG antibodies against HP among three groups(χ2=11.70,P=0.0029), and significant difference of IgG antibodies against EHEC0157 exist in the groups. In addition to, there were conspicuous differ- ences between SSG and NCG in anti-HP (χ2=8.0993, P=0.0044) and anti-EHEC O157(χ2=10.0530,P=0.0015). On contrast, Th- ere was no significant difference of anti-HP and anti-EHECO15- 7 in ORG and NCG, (χ2=0.0052,P=0.9424), (χ2=0.1360, P= 0.7123), respectively. Conclusions:1 chronic infection of Helicobacter Pylori may be associated with CI ; 2 chronic infection of Escherichia coli O157 may be associated with CI ; 3 HP or EHEC O157 chronic infection may be a independence risk factor in development of CI,and bacterial infection spectra may be play an important role in the disease.
