Research Advances In Drug Resistance Markers And Mechanism In Non Small Cell Lung Cancer

The morbidity and mortality of lung cancer upgrade greatly in latest ten years. 60%~80% patients of lung cancer diagnosed is in advanced stage. Chemotherapy is the basic therapy in non-small cell lung cancer, but the effect is not ideal. Combined chemotherapy has a response rate which still remains in the range of 30%-40%. Resistance of cancer cells to the antitumor drugs is the main factor which reduces the efficacy of the chemotherapy. The mechanism of drug resistance is very complicated. It concerns with the protein of drug resistance,GST,Topo-â…¡,PKC,microbule,telomerase,DNA repair and so on. The process is participated by multiple genes and multiple factors. Interpreting the drug resistance mechanism and prospectively measuring the molecular marker as a guide for clinical chemotherapy, we can instruct the medication of lung cancer,facilitate the individualization of the regime and thus increase the response rate.
