The Appearance And Comparative Study CT And MR Of The Pyogenic Hip Arthritis

Objective:An approach was carried out to the CT and MRI manifestations of various signs,clarified.Methods:To retrospective ananlyze various kinds appearance of the 30 the pyogenic hip arthritis,which had been verified by biopsy or pathological or follow-up. The imageologically contrastive methods and observatory standards were confined,and three experienced radiologists were asked to read the film.Results:In 30 cases,24 cases done CT and 15 cases done MRI.①soft tissue swelling could be found in 20 CT cases(degreeⅠin 6 cases,degreeⅡin 6 cases,degreeⅢin 8 cases),14 MRI cases(degreeⅠin 4 cases,degreeⅡin 4 cases,degreeⅢin 6 cases).②effusion(pus) in articular spaces:It could be found in 17 CT cases,12 MRI cases.③synovium granulation tissue hyperblastosis 13 cases by CT,11 cases by MRI.④change of joint space could be found in 13 CT cases(the expanding in 8 cases,the stenochoria in 5 cases) and 9 MRI cases(the expanding in 5 cases,the stenochoria in 4 cases) respectively.⑤change in bone:destruction of bone could be found in 6 CT cases and osteosclerosis in 15 CT cases and osteoporosis in 4 CT cases,change in bone couid be found in 12 MRI cases⑥gas in bone could be found in 5 cases which could be observed by CT.⑦abscess-like cysts appeared in 1 MRI case,which had apperencd three pass abscess-like capsular space.Conclusion:In the early diagnosis and treatment of the pyogenic hip arthritis,MRI was the most valuable imageological method.
