Adipose tissue is known to produce a vast array of adipocyte-derived factors, known as adipocytokins. Many adipocytokins play roles in adjusting balance of mentabolize and tie up with insulin resistance.Resistin is one of the adipocytokins, which has functions of weakening sensitivity of insulin. Many research support that resistin is an important factor which link obesity to insulin resistance. Objective:To assess the influence of exercise and food restriction on serum resistin, serum insulin, blood glucose, muscle glycogen and liver glycogen of the obese SD rats. Methods:Male SD rats were randomly divided into control group, obesity normal control group, obesity food restriction group, obesity exercise group and obesity exercise+food restriction group. The exercise form is swimming.Food restriction groups were give 80%high fat diet referring to control group, 5 weeks. Each rat was weighed every week, drinking freely.60 hours after last exercise, all rats were killed.Weight, serum resistin, serum insulin, blood glucose, muscle glycogen and liver glycogen were detected. Results:①Serum resistin is no significant differences between groups(P>0.05);②Comparing with obesity normal control group, rats' weight of food restriction group decreased notably(P<0.05),exercise group and exercise+food restriction group decreased significantly notably(P<0.01);③Comparing with obesity normal control group,HOMA-IR and blood glucose of food restriction group decreased notably(P<0.05);④Muscle glycogen and liver glycogen is no significant differences between groups(P>0.05),but comparing with obesity normal control group liver glycogen the in food restriction, exercise group and exercise+food restriction is increasing(0.1>P>0.05);⑤Serum resistin is significant negative correlation with muscle glycogen(T=-0.713) and liver glycogen(T=-0.848) in exercise group and significant negative correlation with liver glycogen(T=-0.828) in obesity normal control group.Conclusion:①Exercise,food restriction and exercise+food restriction can' t change the level of serum resistin in obesity rats;②Serum resistin has negative correlation with liver glycogen in obesity rats.③Serum resistin has negative correlation with liver glycogen and muscle glycogen when has exercise.④There is no significant correlation between weight, serum resistin, serum insulin, blood glucose.
