Pedicle Screw In The Application Of Atlantoaxial

Objective:To investigate the effects of occipital and axoid transpedicle screw rod fixation and atlantoaxial transpedicle screw fixation for the treatment of upper cervical fracture and dislocat -ion.Methods:25 cases of atlanto-axial fracture-dislocation in patients with the purposes of posterior pedicle screw fixation and fusion。Posterior arch fracture or a small pedicle used occipito-cervical fusion.Results:The average followed up was 20(2～48) months.All got bony fusion.All nervous syndrome got better.No instrument looseness or broken was found.Conclusions:It is a good technique for the treatment of upper cervical injury with atlantoaxial transpedicle screw fixation.
