| Executive function which includes the components of plan, working memory, mind flexibility and inhibitory control is that for achieving a specific purpose, the utilization of the flexible and effective cooperation between the cognitive system and neural mechanism. This article aims at not only enrich and validate EF in theory but also find out the characteristic of it on autistic students in practice, and base on which to increase the understanding, assistant and pertinence educational suggestion to autistic students.There are 24 autistic students, 24 mental disorder students and 24 normal students who have the suited age and educational background involved in the tests of The Tower of Hanoi, Memory Card, Wisconsin Card Sorting and Stroop. The characteristics of EF on autistic students are educed by experiment, observation and questionnaire. The EF of autistic students is worse than mental disorder students and normal students. Autistic students own biggest individual otherness among all students involved. The four aspects of autistic students'EF are not concerted and there exists three positive correlations: plan and mind flexibility, plan and inhibitory control, inhibitory control and mind flexibility. Autistic students'EF has a great progress from the age of 14 in the aspect of plan, also they have a disfigurement and most of them can only accomplish some primary plan task while other two kinds of students can accomplish more advanced ones. In the aspect of working memory, there exist many disfigurements in different ages and 15 maybe the turning point age of autistic students. In aspect of mind flexibility, autistic students are the worst in three kinds of students and they have big problem in transferring their mind to other principle. In the aspect of inhibitory control, autistic students still have the worst result and 13 maybe a turning point age. Base on the analysis hereinbefore, the educational suggestion of Structured Teaching, Function Analysis, Generalization and Stability are final carried out. |
