The paper based on the ICM topology optimization method (Independent Continuous and Mapping) proposed by professor Y.K.Sui, the optimal model of bone remodeling is constructed. The optimal model is translated into dual programming and solved by ways of sequential quadratic methods, the topology optimization method in bone remodeling is investigated. The PCL(Patran Command Language) code was adopted to secondary development, the theory and actual engineering are combined by numerical simulations. The main contents of this dissertation can be summarized as follows:(1) The topology optimization of bone remodeling is investigated in the effort of stress. A bone remodeling optimal model with the object function of weight, stress constrains is constructed. A globalization of stress constrains is proposed by virtue of the von Mises'yield criterion. Thus, transformation of the local stress constructed of element into the global strain energy constraints of structure is achieved. The optimal model is solved by ways of sequential quadratic methods。(2) We analyzed and compared different bone remodeling models by numerical simulations. We analyzed and compared different situations of the same bone remodeling models, such as different allowable stress, different number of elements, different load, different material, different filtering function. Numerical simulations are analyzed and compared prove the method is right.(3) Based on MSC.Nastran software, the PCL code was adopted to secondary development for topology optimization of two-dimension and three-dimension continuous structure with stress constraints. The present investigation attempts to facilitate bone remodeling optimization theory into field of actual application as well as develop a promising approach.
