ObjectiveTo get across the diagnostic value of high-frequency ultrasonography and MRI image in recruit tibial stress injury by comparing their imaging features.MethodsFrom January to February 2008,thirty recruits were singled out randomly as research object from some artillery. The tibial stress injury was monitored by high-frequency ultrasonography and MRI weekly. The statistical analysis was completed with the SAS6.12 software, the ultrasound data were analyzed by ANOVA(analysis of variance),MRI data were analyzed by Ridit analysis, the test level was set at a = 0.05 and the significance level was set at P<0.05.ResultsThe results monitored by high-frequency ultrasonography showed that the difference was significant statistically among before and after training(P<0.05),but not among weeks of training(P>0.05).The results monitored by MRI showed that tibial stress injury becomes more and more serious as training time is prolonged.ConclusionAlthough it is difficult for high-frequency ultrasonography to find pathological changes in the bone marrow cavity,it has a similar high sensitivity in observing the periosteum. It is valuable for portable color Doppler ultrasonography to monitor the stress bone injury in military soldiers.
