Study And Evaluation Of The Quality Of Commercial Danshen In The Market Of Circulation Area

Objective: Study and evaluation of the variety and quality of commercial Danshen in the market of circulation area,and initially establishment the quality standards of commercial Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae slices.Methods: Collected random sample to inspect the flow of commercial Danshen in the market. Systematics methods were adopted to research the character of the commercial Danshen slices and evaluated the appearance of characters. Reference the "Chinese Pharmacopoeia" and processing norms to investigate the impurity of Danshen.According to the regulation of "Chinese pharmacopoeia", the content of moisture, ash content, extracts, tanshinoneâ…¡A, lithospermate B of Danshen products were determined.The FTIR and HPLC were adopt to establish the fingerprint of Danshen products. The results of different Danshen were compared.Results: The main produce circumstance and the main flow direction in the market of commercial Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae were ascertained through scientific investigation,The knowledge about market were strengthened. The high quality standard of characteristics of commercial Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae were established. The FTIR fingerprint and the identification characteristics of IR were set up,and the commercial Danshen could be quickly identified by the IR spectrum. Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae medicinal materials must not contain aerial stem, the impurity except for aerial stem must be not more than 3.0%.The slices also must not contain aerial stem, the impurity except for aerial stem must be not more than 2.0%, the loss on drying: not more than 12.0%, the total ash: not more than 7.5%, acid-insoluble ash: not more than 1.6%, water-soluble extract: not less than 35.0%, ethanol-soluble extract: not less than 11.0%, content of tanshinoneâ…¡A : not less than 0.9%, content of lithospermate B: not less than 2.8%.The fingerprint of water-soluble and ethanol-soluble composition were set up respectively by HPLC, and the contents of several main effective compositions were determined at the same time.Conclusions: The research results provided theoretical evidence and data for study commercial quality of Danshen products in the market of circulation area, improve the quality standard of Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae medicinal materials and establish the quality standard of Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae medicinal slices.
