Abstract/Summary:
Objective:To provide imaging research data for clinical use of mandibular defects repair and / or tooth implant simultaneously with pedicle sternocleidomastoid muscle subclavian flap.Method:Imaging dates of clavicle ray films and three-dimensional CT reconstruction separately from 40 cases(20 male,20 female) were measured the length and the percentage of various types of bone on the clavicle ray films,in order to study the clavicle density.Meanwhile,the total length of clavicle,the angles of forward and backward,the distance between both ends and bending point,the sagital diameter and the vertical diameter of internal and external side,the conjunction of middle-1/3 part and external-1/3 part(that is,the narrowest point),and the point 6.0 cm from the medial end were measured on the three-dimensional CT reconstruction imaging,in order to study the shape of clavicle.Results:Clavicle bone density is as follows:the both ending part is mainly the ClassⅢ,while the middle part is the classⅡ.Clavicle shape is as follows:Male:the average of total length is:15.28cm,the average forward angle:161.70,the average backward angle:151.09°,the average distance between the internal point and forward point:4.23cm,the average distance between the external point and backward point:3.68cm,the average sagital diameters of the internal and external side,the conjunction of middle-1/3 part and external-1/3 part(that is,the narrowest point),and the point 6.0 cm from the medial end are:2.50cm,2.06cm,0.90cm,1.21cm.The average vertical diameters of the internal and external side,the junction of middle-1/3 part and external-1/3 part(that is,the narrowest point),and the point 6.0 cm from the medial end are:1.91cm,1.10cm,0.63cm,0.79cm;Female:the average of total length is:13.18cm,the average forward angle:160.19°,the average backward angle: 150.75°,the average distance between the internal point and forward point:4.26cm, the average distance between the external point and backward point:3.28cm,the average sagital diameters of the internal and external side,the junction of middle-1/3 part and external-1/3 part(that is,the narrowest point),and the point 6.0 cm from the medial end are 2.32cm,1.99cm,0.88cm,1.07cm;The average vertical diameters of the internal and external side,the conjunction of middle-1/3 part and external-1/3 part (that is,the narrowest point),and the point 6.0 cm from the medial end are 1.99cm, 1.05cm,0.63cm,0.80cm.Conclusion:Clavicle bone is suitable for implant as its density,and for the repair of mandibular defect as its shape.The accurate data of personalized clavicle shape and bone density can be measured through preoperative imaging.It can be used for design of mandibular defects repair and / or tooth plant in the same period with pedicle sternocleidomastoid muscle.
