Objective:To raise a new conception of"Sphincter of Oddi Laxity,SOL",introduce its classification and diagnostic standard and evaluate its importance in hepatolithiasis.Methods:53 patients diagnosed hepatolithiasis from 2005 to 2008 were selected as subjects.They were inquired history in detail and monitored till February 2009.All the patients were divided into 2 groups:23 patients who had Sphincter of Oddi Laxity(Group 1),30 patients who did not(GroupⅡ).Recurrence Index and Reoperation Index of both groups were calculated and compared.Results:Recurrence Index was 0.110 in GroupⅠand 0.007 in GroupⅡ(P<0.001).Reoperation Index was 0.076 in GroupⅠand 0.002 in GroupⅡ(P<0.001).The mean frequency of biliary operation was 1.96 in GroupⅠand 1.13 in GroupⅡ(P).The difference between two groups is significant. Conclusions:Hepatolithiasis patients with"Sphincter of Oddi Laxity"tend to a higher risk of recurrence and a larger demand of reoperation compared to those without SOL。...
