Objective:To explore the diagnostic value of MDCT for obstructing colorectal carcinoma.Method:285 patients with ilues were analyzed retrospectively for the clinical symptoms,MDCT diagnosis and surgical outcomes,and also the difference of MDCT diagnosis and pathological results.Result:121 of 285 patients were diagnosed as colorectal obstruction by MDCT scan.68 cases of these 121 colorectal obstruction patients were diagnosed as colorectal carcinoma by MDCT scan.In these 68 MDCT scan diagnosed colorectal carcinoma patients,52 patients were confirmed by postoperative pathology.10 of 53 patients who were not diagnosed as colorectal carcinoma by MDCT scan were pathologically confirmed as malignant tumor after laparotomy.The sensitivity and specificity of MDCT scan for colorectal carcinoma under colorectal obstruction condition was 83.87%and 72.88%separatively.The accuracy of MDCT scan for obstructing colorectal carcinoma was 65.52%,60.34%, 93.10%for tumor T,N,M staging.Conclusion:Obstructing colorectal obstruction can be effectively diagnosed and estimated preoperatively by MDCT scan.MDCT could be a routine diagnosed method for obstructing colorectal carcinoma.
