Clinical Research Of Combined Forsus Appliance Therapy On Growing Children With Class Ⅱ Division 1 Malocclusion

Early treatments with functional appliance can stimulate the development of denture, occlussion,skeleton and profile.Forsus appliance is a new fixed Hybrid appliance,mainly be used in Angel'sâ…¡divisionl malocclussion that have sever mandibular retrusion.The treatment time with fixed appliance is often in permanent dentition,when you work with Forsus after leveling the dentition,you probably missed the optimal period for functional correction----the peak of growth.This experiment is about the treatment combining Forsus with X bow for 13 cases which experied the mixed dentition,pre-puberty and puberty period. The clinical results were analyzed by cephalometric roentenograms and cast model measurements.At last,we came to a conclusion that Forsus has a positive effect on early fuctional treatment for Angel'sâ…¡divisionl malocclussion.
