Alopecia is a common disease. Till now, effective methods to cure it do not existed. Elementary and clinical researches related to alopecia have always been the hot topic in the biomedicine engineering area. The subject of this research is SD mice, this paper intends to use glycerol, light-damage or heavy-damage and methods such as combination of physical and glycerol to affect the hair growth, and probes in the effective means to boost the hair growth. The main contents and conclusions are the following:(1)This paper uses the methods such as chemical depilation and laser-epilation, and take pictures in a long term, also compared with the HE stain slice of skin. We can see that, the animal model modeled by chemical depilation can be used in the hair growth experiment.(2)Based on this, this paper studied the effect of smearing glycerol on epidermis or injection glycerol into dermis on hair growth. The former one does not affect the hair growth; while the injection glycerol will delay the hair growth. The delay effect of the injection is higher when desity of glycerol is higher.(3)After the skin is light or heavily damaged by mechanical method, besides the sandpaper rubbing, hair growth speed is higher after the use of adhesive tape pasting and laser radiation in long-term observation. The results respectively are: ultra pulsed CO2 laser with power of 3w,ultra pulsed CO2 laser with power of 1w,continuous CO2 laser with power of 3w,adhesive tape plastering, however, continuous CO2 laser with power of 3w will cause short-term skin injuries.(4)After the skin is lightly or heavily damaged, glycerol is applied to the skin, which both can boost the hair growth speed. The combined use of ultra pulsed CO2 laser with power of 3w and glycerol has the best effect, the combined use of sandpaper rubbing and glycerol comes the next, then follows the combined use of adhesive tape plastering and glycerol. Except continuous CO2 laser with power of 3w and glycerol, combined methods have better effect than physical method alone. In summary, the treatment of ultra pulsed CO2 laser with power of 3w with glycerol is the most effective and painless way to boost the hair growth. This paper aims to propose a new path to treat alopecie.
