Aflatoxins are a group of toxic agents belonging to the category of mycotoxins. Aflatoxin B1, B2, G1, G2 and their metabolites M1 and M2 are the most common , and B1 and G1 are observed most frequently in food commodities. Aflatoxins can produce dangerous illnesses including acute liver damage, cirrhosis, tumor induction and teratogenicity. Hence, the long-term chronic exposure to extremely low levels of aflatoxins in the diet is an important consideration for human health. Aflatoxin B1 is the most toxic aflatoxin and is considered as one of the most potent carcinogens especially hepato-carcinogens. So it is very important for ensuring food safety to inhance the detection of AFB1. Among several techniques, immunological technique based on McAb is the most useful technique due to its quickness, sensitivity and application. In the research ,Af1atoxin B1 coupled with BSA was used to immune BALB/c mice,the spleen cells of mice was taken out and fused with myeloma cells.Two hybridoma cell lines excreting monoclonal antibodies against AFB1,coded AA-1 and AA-2 .The monoclonal antibodies produced by the hybridoma cell was tested for subtypes and designated as IgG1 . Hybridoma cell lines secreted anti-aflatoxin B1 were screened out successfully and monoclonal antibodies had high affinity and specificity with aflatoxin B1 was preparated.The study provided technical support for the quick detection techniques.
