Study Of Prevalence Of Fatty Liver Disease And Its Related Factor In Physical Examination People Of Enterprises Of Qingdao City

Objective To investigate the prevalence of fatty liver disease and its relevant factors in the enterprises of Qingdao City,and to provide a basis for early intervention and improvement in prognosis of fatty liver disease.Method People who were medical check-up in Qingdao municipal hospital were invited to participate in the survey.Questionnaire,physical examnation,serum lipid,serum glucose,hepatitis B virus and hepatitis C virus serum markers,and ultrasonographic examination of liver were undertaken.Analysis of dada was performed through SPSS 11.5.Results(1) A total of 5762 people took part in the survey,of the 5762,3677 were males and 2085 were females.The meam age of the participants was 39.32±10.9 years and ranged from 20-85 years,fatty liver was detected which ultrasound examination in 1791 participants(30.08%). Of them,the male detective rate of fatty liver disease was 39.38% (1448/3677),higher than that of women was 16.45%(343/2085),P＜0.001. (2) The overall prevalence rate of fatty liver disease was increased with aging.The prevalence rate in the 50-60 age group peaked at 41.39%.After gender stratification,the prevalence rate of men in the 50-60 age group peaked at 46.10%and females in the 60-70 age group peaked at 42.29%.(3) In the 1791 cases who were detected in fatty liver disease alcoholic fatty liver disease accounted for583 cases(32.55%).The detective rate of alcoholic fatty liver disease was higher.(4) By single factor and multiple logistic regression analysis found that triglycerides,body mass index,fasting blood glucose,cholesterol,waist circumference,diastolic blood pressure,age, vegetarian closely related to fatty liver disease.Triglyceride,body mass index had the highest relative risk(OR was 1.637 and 1.357).Conclusion(1) The prevalence rate of fatty liver disease and alcoholic liver disease which related to age,sex,obesity,hypertension,hyperlipidemia, high blood sugar and bad eating habits is hight in enterprises of Qingdao city. (2) At present there is no epidemiological research data about fatty liver disease in Qingdao.The study by epidemiological investigation to fatty liver disease-related pathogenic factors to clearly the prevalence rate and the influencing factors of fatty liver disease in enterprises staff of Qingdao City. It is provide a reliable theoretical basis for the the timely intervention of health education measures to reduce the incidence of fatty liver disease and for the formulation of health policy,and further improving the overall health level of residents in Qingdao city.(3) Notwithstanding developing a rigorous Experimental design and a random sampling program prior to the implementation,however,because of various reasons,there is some deviation.In view of the difficulty and lack of the data in general population to carry out epidemiological investigations in Qingdao.it still has academic values and guiding significance.
