The Influence Research Of Jian Pi Yi Fei Fa To Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis's Motor Function And TCM Syndrome

Speciality:Internal Medicine of Traditional Chinese medicineAuthor:Sun Li-xiaTutor:Professor Du bao-xinResearch objectiveThis research adopted the prospective case analysis and combined a modern mathematical statistics method to discuss the influence of jian pi yi fei fa to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis patients'motor function and TCM syndrome, in order to further instruct clinically.Research methodAccording to the literature available and the expert consultancy,took the international universal scales of ALSFRS scales,Norris scales,Appel scale as the motor function assessment scales,which come from"Motor Neuron Diseases"and"The rating scales of neurology".Simultaneously,according to the"Center Treats an illness Card Diagnosis Curative effect Standard""diagnostics of traditional Chinese medicine"and"Guiding principle of clinical research on new drugs of traditional Chinese medicine".brought to the relative targets of fei pi liang xu xing patients'as the observational targets,formulated unified TCM symptoms questionnaire.Used the prospective research technique, took the patients which had been clinical diagnosed determinately as the research objects,gave the treatment of jian pi yi fei zhong yao for 3 months, finally evaluated the relative targets of motor function and TCM syndrome, including the treatment before and after it 1 and 3 months.This research collected 23 patients.IT used SPSS13.0 software package to record and inspect the data,used the description analysis,one-way anova,paired-samples T Test and rank sum test methods to carry on the statistical analysis for discussing the influence of jian pi yi fei fa to ALS patients'motor function and TCM syndrome.Research results ALS male sends much,the male and female proportion is 3.6:1,good sends to 41-70 year old of age section.The average time is 18 months.The statistic results indicate,before and after the treatment 1 and 3 months,there was no statistics difference between the 23 ALS patients'motor function integral(P＞0.05).The statistic results indicate,before and after the treatment 1 and 3 months,there was statistics difference in part of the 23 ALS'TCM syndromes integral(P＜0.05),such as hypodynamia,palpitations,spontaneous sweating, eating less,pale tongue and the total integral of TCM syndromes.Because the lower of ALSFRS scale score and Norris scale's integral,the more serious of the neurologic deficits,the higher of Appel scale's intergeral,the more serious of the neurologic deficits,so the correlation analysis results among ALSFRS scale,Norris scale and Appel scale indicate, ALSFRS scale and Norris scale had a high positive correlation(P＜0.01),Norris scale and Appel scale had a high negative correlation(P＜0.01),ALSFRS scale and Appel scale had a high negative correlation(P＜0.01).This suggested that the three motor function scales had a high correlation and a good consistency and validity to use cooperately.Because the higher of TCM syndrome scale and Appel scale's integral,the more serious of the neurologic deficits,the lower of ALSFRS scale and Norris scale's intergeral,the more serious of the neurologic deficits,so The correlation analysis results of TCM syndrome scale with ALSFRS scale,Norris scale and Appelscale indicate,TCM syndrome scale with ALSFRS scale and Norris scale had a high negative correlation(P＜0.01),TCM syndrome scale and Appel scale had a high positive correlation(P＜0.01).This suggested that TCM syndrome scale which was designed by ourselves with the three international universal scales scales had a high correlation and a good consistency and validity to use cooperately,so enhanced the reliability and validity of the research results.ConclusionJian pi yi fei fa can improve most of the patient's motor function and TCM syndrome on a stable basis,enhance the patient's motor functions such as feeding,clothing,writing,bed emancipated,walking and so on,improve their bulbar paralysis,breathing not free and TCM syndromes such as hypodynamia,palpitations,spontaneous sweating,eat less,pale tongue and so on.Therefore,it improved the clinical symptoms on the whole,delayed the progress of the disease,enhanced the patients'ability of daily life, provided further guidance for ALS's future clinical treatment.
