The Analysis Of The High Myopia Of Blind And Low Vision Of The First Hospital Of Guangzhou University Of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Objective:Calculate different ratios of the blind and low vision sufferer in the age, gender and find out the causes from the aspect of dialectical rule.Methodology:This study employs the retrospective research method to collect all the pupil patients in the medicine section of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese medicine from the year 1996 to 2007.According to the blind and low vision standard,492 sufferers are chosen, among whom 44 are high myopia.They are grouped by the age,gender,sight and entity so as to find their inner relationship and rule.Results:First,as for the age,there are two rush hours for the suffers,one is under 30 and the other is above 50.Second,traditional Chinese medical pattern of syndrome is the deficiency of Liver-yin and Kidney-yin,whose distribution is related to age and diopter and not related to the gender.Third the main complicating disease of high myopia which cause blind and low vision is retinal detachment,retinopathy,amblopia.Fourth Chinese medicine is helpful for people of blind and low vision,it maybe an effective method to improve the visional function of the blind and low vision of high myopiaConclusionFirst,as for the age,most of people is under 30,some is above 50Second,of all the blind and low vision high myopia,about 76.03%have the problem of the deficiency of Liver and Kidney,which is one of the traditional Chinese medical pattern of syndrome.Differentiation of symptoms and signs for classification of syndrome has nothing to do with the gender.The distribution of the age of the sufferers of the deficiency has two peaks,and the differentiation of symptoms and signs for classification of syndrome is related to age.Third,the traditional Chinese medicine has certain positive effect on the therapy of the blind and low vision high myopia.It provides a new and effective method to improve the visional function of the blind and low vision of high myopiaFourth,Chinese medicine maybe an effective method to improve the visional function of the blind and low vision of high myopia...
