ObjectiveTo investigate the effects of different target concentrations of sufentanil on the hemodynamic and anaesthesia recovery during artificial pneumoperitoneum of laparoscopic herniorrhaphy in children.Methodsforty-nine ASAⅠ~Ⅱchildren aged between 2~8 years of undergoing selective laparoscopic herniorrhaphy were randomly assigned to the following three groups:each group received a fixed sufentanil target concentration of 0.2ng/ml(group S1),0.3ng/ml(group S2),0.4ng/ml(group S3),respectively. Systolic pressure(SBP),diastolic pressure(DBP),heart rate(HR),oxygen saturation of blood(Sp02),partial pressure of carbon dioxide in end expiratory gas(PetC0z)were recorded at the following time points of before anesthesia(T0), after anesthesia induction(T1),at intubation(T2),at 5 min after intubation(T3),at 3 min(T4)and 10 min(T5)after C02 pneumoperitoneum,at 10 min after stop C02 pneumoperitoneum(T6),before extubation(T7),at extubation(T8),at 10 min after extubation(T9).The time of restoration to consciousness and extubation,and the side-effect after extubation were recorded.ResultsThe age,weight,sex and the time of C02 pneumoperitoneum showed no significant difference among the three groups.SBP,DBP of the three groups at the time point of T4,T5 were significantly higher than those at the time point of T3(P<0.05);HR of the three groups showed no significant difference at the time point of T4,T5 and T3(P>0.05);SBP,DBP,HR of the three groups at the time point of T8 were significantly higher than those at the time point of T7(P<0.05);SBP,DBP of the three groups showed the same level at the time point of T6 and T1;Sp02,PETC02 showed no significant difference among three groups at each time point;There were no significant differences in the values of SBP,DBP,HR at time point of T1,T3,T6,T7,T8,T9 among three groups(P>0.05);SBP,DBP,HR of group S1 was significantly higher than those of group S2 and group S3 at the time point of T4 and T5(P<0.05),and those of group S2 and group S3,there were no significant differences(P>0.05);The time of the restoration to consciousness and extubation of group S3 was significantly longer than that of group S1 and group S2(P<0.05).There were no significant differences between group S1 and group S2.The side-effect after extubation showed no significant difference among the three groups.ConclusionsAs compared with 0.2ng/ml target concentrations of sufentanil at maintenance of anesthesia during artificial pneumoperitoneum in children, maintenance of anesthesia with 0.3ng/ml or 0.4ng/ml target concentrations of sufentanil can keep more stable of the hemodynamics.But the time of restoration to consciousness and extubation was delayed by use of the 0.4ng/ml target concentration of sufentanil.The 0.3ng/ml target concentration of sufentanil may be the adequate concentration to maintenance of anesthesia during laparoscopic herniorrhaphy in children.
