Study BackgroundPolycystic ovarian syndrome(PCOS)is a gynecology endocrine,clinical most familiar and troublehooting disease,is a kind of disease with different phenotypic aspects,Clinical manifestation of pcos includes menoxenia, hypertrichosis,obesity and infertility.From Stein and Leventhal first reportd this disease in 1935,the stady on the cause,pathogenesis and treatment of PCOS always is the difficult and hot spots in the field of reproductive and Endocrine.Because pcos not only cause infertility,but also the hyperinsu-linism in pcos influences the metabolize of lipoprotein and cholesterin then cause hyperlipemia,and what's more atherosclerosis and heart disease,in addition pcos has the potential to bring to endometrial carcimoma,breast caicinoma and diabetes.So the treatment of PCOS can cure the infertility, but also can decline the dangerous of carcinoma result in the hyperestrogen. Currently,study shows Metformin can effectively improve Insulin resistance, Hypenisulinemia and Hyperandrogenism,and lower the level of LDL-C,TG,etc;The using of Metformin can help to improve the PCOS patients' metabolic disorders, reach the aim of recovery natural cycle,The traditional medicine treatment has the exact cutative effect,less side-effect,shows the advantage in evidence.ObjectiveThe aim of this clinical study is to discuss the mechanism of Ling-Zhu granule treatment on two typis of PCOS which are deficiency of kidney with sputum" and "deficiency of kidney with blood stasis".Use the metheds of DME for further study,discus the Prescription experience's possible effect on Endocrine and Lipid Metabolism,provid new treatment program for clinical,and supply basical datats for the exploitation of chinese medicine.MethodsAccording to the diagnosis criterion of PCOS and the syndromes of "deficiency of kidney with sputum" and "deficiency of kidney with blood stasis" in traditional medicine,we collect 62 women from TCM hosipital of Guangdong Province,from year 2007-2009.They are divided into two groops by 1:1 randomly,Ling-Zhu granule is given to treatment class including 31 cases,and at the same time Metformin is given to the control class also including 31 cases,two groups are inspected by using Chinese medicine syndromes graded tables and other observe variable index.ResultsThe research expresses①LH,T,LH/FSH all in the two groups have descended obviously after treatment,There is obviously distinct statistical differences between two groups(P＜0.01).The descensive level in the two groups has obviously distinct statistical differences(P＜0.01).②The INS and ISI obviously descend after treatment both in the two groups(P＜0.05),There is no distinct statistical differences between the two groups(P＞0.05).③The weight index and waist-hip ratio obviously descend after treatment both in the two groups(P＜0.05),The descensive level in the two groups has distinct statistical differences(P＜0.05).④The TG,TC,LDH-C,,ApoB and ApoA/ApoB have distinct statistical differences after treatment both in the two groups(P＜0.05),but HDL-C,ApoA have no distinct statistical differences after treatment(P＞0.05).The descensive level of TG,TC,LDH-C,ApoB and ApoA/ApoB have distinct statistical differences between the two groups(P＜0.05).⑤The point of Chinese medicine syndromes graded tables decline in the two groups(P＜0.01),and there is obviously distinct statistical differences between the two groups(P＜0.01).⑥In the treatment group,the cure rate,efficient rate and total efficient rate of "deficiency of kidney with sputum" are 19.0%,71.4%,90.5%,and the cure rate,efficient rate and total efficient rate of "deficiency of kidney with blood stasis" are 20.0%, 70.0%,90.0%,and there is no distinct statistical differences between "deficiency of kidney with sputum" and "deficiency of kidney with blood stasis"(P＞0.05).In the control class,the cure rate,efficient rate and total efficient rate of "deficiency of kidney with sputum" are 10.5%, 57.9%,68.4%,and the cure rate,efficient rate and total efficient rate of "deficiency of kidney with blood stasis" are 8.3%,58.3%,66.7%,and there is no distinct statistical differences between "deficiency of kidney with sputum" and "deficiency of kidney with blood stasis"(P＞0.05).The rate of "deficiency of kidney with sputum" and "deficiency of kidney with blood stasis" between the two groups,has obviously distinct statistical differences(P＜0.05).⑦In the treatment group,the cure rate,efficient rate and total efficient rate are 19.4%,71.0%,90.4%,and the cure rate,efficient rate and total efficient rate in the control group are 9.7%,58.1%,67.7%, there is obviously distinct statistical differences between the two groups(P＜0.05).ConclusionThe total efficient rate between the two groups has obviously distinct statistical differences(P＜0.05).Ling-Zhu granule treat PCOS in the type of "deficiency of kidney with sputum" and "deficiency of kidney with blood stasis" have no istinct statistical differences(P＞0.05),and better than Metformin(P＜0.05),Ling-Zhu granule treat PCOS in The weight index and waist-hip ratio better than Metformin(P＜0.05),in the improve of clinical symptoms,the Ling-Zhu granule better than Metformin(P＜0.05),but the descensive level INS and ISI,there is no distinct statistical differences between in the two groups(P＞0.05),in the decline the TG,TC,LDL-C,ApoB and increase ApoA/ApoB,Ling-Zhu granule better than Metformin(P＜0.05).
