| BackgroundLuteinized Unruptured Follicle Syndrome(LUFS) is an especially type of ovarian ovulatory dysfunction illness.It is one common cause to induce female infertile which seriously influence infertility conjugal physical and mental health and family harmony.In modern medicine the cause and the mechanism of LUFS is not clear.The main treatment is ovulation stimulants induced ovulation which is a kind of symptomatic treatment and the effect is not satisfactory, moreover,drugs used in ovulation itself may give rise to LUF and high recurrence rate.Treatment of puncturing to obtain ovum under ultrasound to perform IVF-ET techniques,or puncturing stroke under laparoscope,its clinical efficacy is significant,however,because these are are invasive treatment and exist surgery risks,the clinical application are limited. Although Chinese crude drug decotion is effective,it takes a long time to be overdose and to work.The Ventro-acupuncture of Bo Shi is fast-good effect, painless,small side effect.Infra-red radiation can promote local blood circulation,strengthen the effect of ventro-acupuncture,moreover it can increase the comfort of the treatment of Ventro-acupuncture of Bo Shi,so that the patient is more easily accepted.Expandedness of the investigation is to learn the effect of the Ventro-acupuncture of Bo Shi and infra-red radiation, and to explore its possible mechanism.ObjectiveThe research is that the Ventro-acupuncture of Bo Shi and infra-red radiation treat the LUFS,to observe its validity and the security,and to explore its possible mechanism,in order to explore a safe,non-invasive, effective and comfortable new method for the treatment of LUFS,provide the basical evidence for further clinical application and promotion. MethodRandomized controlled trial was used,50 out-patients with LUFS were observed in department of Gynecology in Guangdong Provincial TCM Hospital from April 2008 to March 2009.According to randomized table,patients were divided into two groups,25 in the trial group treated by Ventro-acupuncture of Bo Shi and infra-red radiation,and 25 in the blank control group.Transvaginal color Doppler ultrasound was adopted to monitor follicle rupture and the ovarian artery hemodynamic changes including blood flow resistance index(RI) and pulsatility index(PI),the level of reproductive endocrinology which induced ovulation including E2,LH were measured before and after the treatment, and the occurrence of adverse reactions was recorded.Result1.The trial group of 25 cases,non-shedding,58 treatment cycles,42 normal ovulation cycle,ovulation rate was 72.4%.25 cases included in the control group,of which 3 cases withdraw from this study due to half-way changing the treatment plan,to the actual observation 22 cases were observed in 22 cycles,5 normal ovulation cycle,ovulation rate was 22.7%.12 patients in the trial group achieved pregnancy and the pregnancy rate was 48%, however,no patient in the control group achieved pregnancy.The ovulation rate and pregnancy rate of trial acupuncture group was significantly higher than that in the control group,the difference was significant(P＜0.01).2.The level of E2 and LH in the trial group after treatment were significantly higher than that before treatment(P＜0.01),compared with the control group there is a significant difference(P＜0.05).The level of RI and PI in the trial group after treatment were significantly lower than that before treatment(P＜0.01),compared with the control group there is a significant difference(P＜0.01).3.No adverse reaction was occurredi in the trial group.Conclusion1.Through the investigation we could considered that the Ventro-acupuncture of Bo Shi and infra-red radiation could be an effective therapeutics treating LUFS.2.The effect of Ventro-acupuncture of Bo Shi and infra-red radiation may be associated with improvement in the level of reproductive endocrinology which induced ovulation and ovarian local micro-circulation,which is conducive to pregnancy.3.The Ventro-acupuncture of Bo Shi and infra-red radiation therapeutic is effective and safe.So we could conclud that it can be used extensively as an effective therapeutics of LUFS.
