Objective:Vertebrobasilar transient ischemic attack is a kind of high morbidity rate, disservice and refractoriness diease, the aim of this clinical study is to observe the changes of the cerebral blood flow dynamics before and after catgut implantation at bilateral cervical Jiaji(EX-B2)in vertebrobasilar transient ischemic attack patients.A more better treatment of Chinese and Western Integrative was observed,it is more convenient, the period of treatment will be cut down and the treatment efficiency will be increased considerably. The effect of prevention and cure to TIA will be improved more better. Methods:Sixty cases of Vertebrobasilar Transient Ischemic Attack were randomly divide into treatment group(n=30)and control group(n=30)by using random table method. The patients of control group were received aspirin(300mg/d),the patients of treatment group were recieved catgut implantation at bilateral cervical Jiaji(EX-B2)in addition to aspirin(300mg/d).Average velocities of MCA,VA,BA were measured with transcranial Doppler(TCD)before and after 3 months treatment, the reoccurrence rate and the pathophysiology of cerrebral infraction rate were statisticsd during three follow-up survey.Results:1,In both groups higher average velocities of MCA,VA,BA were measured after treatment, the therapeutic effect of treatment group was apparently higher than that of control guoup(P<0.05);2,The reoccurrence rate of treatment group was 6.7%while 16.7%of control group during three follow-up survey, compared with the control group, the difference was no signifcant (P>0.05);3,The pathophysiology of cerrebral infraction rate was 3.3%of treatment group while 10%of control guoup, compared with the control group, the difference was no signifcant(P>0.05).Conclusion:1,Both of the therapies can improved the cerebral blood flow of vertebrobasilar transient ischemic attack patients, but the therapeutic effect was apparently superior in patients with catgut implantation to that of aspirin therapy;2,The reoccurrence rate and the pathophysiology of cerrebral infraction rate were almost equal of the tow groups during three months follow-up survey.
